Following this, I assumed the role of project director for a $45 million initiative to establish a government-sponsored engineering university.My trajectory reached new heights when I was appointed as a Member of the Planning Commission Pakistan (ST & ICT),where I played a pivotal role in strategic planning for the development portfolio of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Ministry of IT, and the Science and Technology sector in Pakistan. Subsequently, I had the privilege of serving as the Minister of Science and Technology & IT (caretaker) in KP, where I had the opportunity to shape policies that would drive progress and innovation in the region. Concurrently, I completed my Executive MBA at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, which equipped me with invaluable skills to think innovatively and operate on a global scale.My extensive experiences have afforded me the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed institutions worldwide, including University of Cambridge, St John Innovation Centre, Cambridge Enterprise, USAID, Arizona State University, Tufts university at Boston , UNDP, among others. Today, I am delighted to introduce Edison Innovation Venture, a culmination of my diverse experiences and a commitment to fostering an innovation ecosystem.Edison Innovation Venture will function as both an accelerator and venture capital firm, offering a wide range of services including investments, innovation, and tech transfer. Our dynamic initiative seeks to reshape the landscape of innovation and economic growth, driving forward transformative change in Pakistan and beyond.
